FAAS documentation¶
Faas (features as a service) is a service for calculating geofeatures.
Geofeatures are usually some aggregations calculated for a location. For example, here is a code that returns the number of apartments within a 10-minute walking distance:
import faas_client as fc
config = {
'points': [
{
'id': 1,
'geopos': {
'type': 'Point',
'coordinates': [30.33, 59.86],
},
},
],
'features': {
'apartments_foot_10min': {
'type': 'isochrone',
'dataset': 'ru-pub-households/apartments',
'metric': 'foot',
'limit': 10,
'field': 'apartments',
'agg': 'sum',
},
},
}
df = fc.calc(config)
# Result is a pandas dataframe:
#
# id apartments_foot_10min
# 0 1 8582.0
